socio-economic development covering the period 2004-2010,
the Medium Term Cordillera Regional Development Plan
(RDP) is now available.
The Plan has 6 regional development goals namely
(a) sustainable economic growth ( b) environmental
quality and sustainable use of resources (c) social
and human development (d) regional integration (e)
regional autonomy and (e) cultural integrity. It

| NRO-CAR RD Juan Ngalob talks to CAR Municipal Planning
and Development Coordinators (MPDCs)
Mike Jalcon of the Agriculture Staff talked about
the KR2 Program requirements to ensure that project
proposals meet donor specifications. At the end of the
training, 43 proposals on techno-demo projects that
will either introduce or replicate technology were produced.
These proposals will be the subject of further enhancement
in succeeding sessions, and finally will be presented
to a Donors' Forum to be held on the last quarter of
2007. Majority of the 43 training participants came
from the KALAHI convergence areas and other 5th and
6th class municipalities. |
