The Office of the Director assumes the overall management responsibility over the Institute and provides general direction to its operations in accordance with policies laid down by the FSI Board. The Library and the Publications Sections are geared to the needs of their clientele for in-depth reference materials, keeping them abreast of recent foreign policy formulations, while striving to be of service to the diplomatic community and academic community. The effectiveness of the courses and faculty is regularly monitored and evaluated by the Evaluation Unit (EU).
